Meet Jen, a dedicated veterinary professional with over 20 years of experience in various aspects of veterinary medicine. Based in the heart of KCMO, she has been fortunate to work alongside numerous wonderful veterinarians, pursuing her passion for caring for pets.

Jen's journey began in 2008 when she graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at Maple Woods. She started her career in Mission, Kansas, where she thrived in emergency and specialty medicine. After eight successful years in Lawrence, working in general practice, she discovered her interest in veterinary ultrasound.

Continuing her pursuit of excellence, Jen spent two years in academia at Kansas State Veterinary Health Center, where she gained valuable experience in anesthesia and the ICU. For the past five years, she has served as a head tech in a general practice clinic in the Kansas City area.

Always seeking growth and advancement, Jen attended The Academy of Veterinary Imaging in Arlington, Texas, in 2021. It was during this training that she realized her calling as a veterinary sonographer—a path she eagerly embraced to further care for pets.

Beyond her professional achievements, Jen finds joy in spending time with her husband, Steve, and their adorable fur-family. Jasper and Josie, their two chihuahuas, and Rusty and Dexter, their two cats, bring constant love and companionship to their lives.

When she's not at work, Jen enjoys exploring new places through travel and reconnecting with nature while camping. As a true KC enthusiast, she passionately cheers on the city's sports teams, making her a loyal and vibrant member of the community.
