Tom graduated from the University of Tampa in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Tom has always had a love of animals and has been involved in the veterinary industry for over 20 years, working his way up from kennel attendant to technician to now veterinary sonographer.
Before starting with SVS in January 2022, Tom spent 17 years at the largest VCA specialty hospital in the Midwest as the lead diagnostic imaging technician, performing and training doctors and technicians in radiographic technique and positioning, as well as performing fluoroscopy/interventional radiology, CT, MRI and ultrasound. He traveled to multiple hospitals to train technicians in CT and MRI across the country and assist in building protocols. He truly loves every aspect of diagnostic imaging there is.
In his spare time, Tom loves to be at home with his wife and two children, two dogs, and two cats. He also loves to work out and has been a competitive powerlifter for the past 7 years.
