Dr. Tom Day graduated from Ohio State University with a BS (1983), DVM (1988), and MS (1992). He is board certified in veterinary anesthesiology (1992) and veterinary emergency and critical care (1998). He also is a certified veterinary acupuncturist (2008) and most recently received his certification in the International Veterinary Ultrasound Society (2023).

Dr. Day has been imaging for over 25 years and has observed and experienced many of the exciting advances in abdominal and thoracic ultrasound techniques. He has an interest in renal imaging as it applies to the dog and cat with azotemia. He also has a specific interest in echocardiography, not only for primary cardiac disorders of dogs, and especially cats, but also with systemic diseases that can affect the heart and be expressed with echocardiography.

Dr. Day spends his personal time with his wife and two daughters and he also enjoys training and competing in long distance triathlons.
