Sarah joined SVS Imaging in 2019 after having a growing interest in ultrasonography. Sarah graduated from Bel-Rea Institute of Veterinary Technology in 2002 with an Associate of Applied Science. She also received a Certificate in Practice Management from Purdue University in 2014. Sarah became a SDEP certified sonographer in 2020 after an intense training program and certification process.
Sarah has worked in many areas of veterinary medicine including general small animal medicine, dentistry, ophthalmology, and pathology. She has worked in emergency medicine since 2004, which is a great passion of hers and has become more of a weekend hobby than a job.
She enjoys the outdoors, hiking, fishing, and practicing her archery skills with her compound bow. Sarah lives in the Quad Cities with her 2 daughters, several cats, a Chihuahua Mix, Gus, and a Shih Tzu, Mini.
