Meet Chaley (pronounced Chay-Lee), a licensed veterinary technician with a remarkable 17-year track record in general small animal practice. Hailing from rural Alaska, Chaley learned the virtues of resilience and problem-solving, adapting quickly to various environments due to her family's frequent moves. After obtaining her Veterinary Technology degree in Washington State, she ventured to Michigan in 2004 to commence her rewarding career—an adventure in itself.
Chaley has been an indispensable asset in the Jackson Michigan area for nearly two decades, providing exceptional care to cats, dogs, and even the occasional exotic pets. Her career choices have consistently led her to clinics that prioritize sound medicine and encourage personal growth. For 8 years, she was an esteemed member of an American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) clinic, where she tirelessly pursued excellence in her work.
Throughout her professional journey, Chaley has attained AAHA certification in various specialties, showcasing her expertise in anesthesia, dental procedures, imaging, client education, and patient care. Driven by an unwavering passion for learning, she has earned certification in abdominal ultrasound through Sonopath, and has also acquired individual Fear-Free and Cat-Friendly certifications for her previous hospital.
Chaley's dedication to enhancing veterinary practices goes hand in hand with her commitment to filling a crucial need she perceives in the field. Her primary objectives are to deliver unparalleled patient care and ensure seamless and efficient veterinary hospital operations.
Beyond her professional life, Chaley finds solace in the pages of books and takes pleasure in creating delectable dishes during her leisure time. Maintaining an active lifestyle is important to her, and she relishes her TRX and water aerobics classes at the Y, as well as invigorating bike rides along the scenic Falling Waters Trail when the weather permits.
At home, Chaley's three charming cats keep her endlessly entertained and curious, particularly as she navigates the intriguing dynamic between two feisty sisters.
