Erika joined SVS Imaging in 2024 as a clinical sonographer, following a thriving fifteen-year career with a veterinary distribution company. Her tenure there fostered a deep appreciation for the multifaceted realm of veterinary practice, encompassing business, medicine, pets, and above all, the human connection. It was through her involvement in selling medical imaging equipment that she unearthed her interest in sonography. Erika's journey through the veterinary field began humbly as a kennel attendant, progressing through roles as an assistant and ultimately achieving certification as a CVT. 

Erika's fervor for veterinary care runs deep, and she wholeheartedly supports the initiative of veterinary providers to provide advanced diagnostic services directly in the clinic. She aspires to play a role in making cutting-edge imaging modalities more accessible to pets and their owners, serving as a supportive partner to their primary care team.

During her leisure hours, Erika savors the joys of life alongside her wonderful husband, cherished son, and the menagerie of animals sharing their rustic farmette. She also finds pleasure in pursuits such as native habitat management, old-school coddiwompling, car-camping, and paddlesports.
