Hours of Scanning Time!

PRIOR TO TRAINING DATE

  • ULTRASOUND MACHINE: It's important that we know what kind of machine we'll be using on training day. Please send us a picture or two of your ultrasound machine, including the make/model as well as the front of the machine (knobs).
  • ATTENDEES: We need the name of each attendee and their license number (doctors and certified technicians).
    Please click here to create an account with AAVSB.  Once your account is created, please log in to be sure the account is active.
    The trainer will apply the credits to each attendee's account within 2 weeks after completion of the training.

DAY OF Training

  • We'll need the use of one room for the entire day.
  • Please have a total of 5 healthy pets (mix of cats and dogs preferred), under 40 pounds. The animals need to be fasted for 8-10 hours. These animals will be shaved and sedated.

Fred Gromalak, DVM

Dr. Gromalak has been performing ultrasounds and echocardiograms since graduating veterinary school in 2017.   During his free time, Dr. Gromalak enjoys traveling, boating, playing softball, and attending concerts of all kinds. He lives in Wisconsin with his wife and son.

Kim Liedberg,

Kim is our newest team member, she graduated from the Technical School of Medicine in Naperville Illinois in 2004 as a human sonographer in vascular and general ultrasound.

She lives in Walworth Wisconsin with her husband and two dogs, Jaxon and Bear.

Sarah Pender,

CVT

Sarah joined SVS Imaging in 2019 after having a growing interest in ultrasonography. Sarah graduated from Bel-Rea Institute of Veterinary Technology in 2002 with an Associates of Applied Science. 

Sarah lives in the Quad Cities with her 2 daughters, several cats, a Chihuahua Mix, Gus, and a Shih Tzu, Mini.
